This will have to take priority, even over our food situation, as I have already worn out all of the tools that I salvaged from the ship. Hep-the craftsman-informs me that if I build him proper facilities, then he will gladly make me some new tools. They are all made out of dirt, though, using supports made from raw wood. I have constructed enough shelters for us to live in relative comfort. I caught a number of fish this afternoon, so at least we won’t starve tonight. Still, I would rather take my chances on this ground than go back to the ship and starve to death. I didn’t get a wink of sleep last night, because of the monsters pounding on the door. I have used the torches to light up as large an area as I could, hopefully this will keep hostile creatures at bay. I cut down most of the trees immediately surrounding our landing site, and have built us some rudementary shelter in the ground. The ship was adrift for far longer than was intended. ![]() I salvaged a number of supplies from the ship. And myself, the guy who is going to make sure no-one else dies! The ship is, as far as I can tell, fine, but no-one remains who can navigate it back to civilization. I know nothing of ships, but when we finally spotted land, I did manage to steer us some way up a river, before running aground. The first death occurred less than a week after that, and by then it was too late to turn the ship around, even if there had been any crewman healthy enough to do so. We had been out to sea for almost 3 weeks when the crew started to fall ill. Added a new rule regarding floating houses.This was made clear in the rules section. However, upgrading a house to a new building style also counts as building a new residential house, as you're replacing the old one, almost completely. You must build 3 residential houses before building a Productive Building. Elaborated on residential:productive building rules.Added a new rule regarding exploration (you may only leave the village once a week-there must be a 7-day wait before you can explore again).Added the Conquer the Overworld and Conquer the Nether achievements.Added extra information toe some Completion Achievements (Expert Carpenter, Minor Protection, Master Prospector and Master Merchant).Made changes to some Completion Achievements (Apprentice Carpenter, Expert Carpenter, Minor Protection (name changed from 'No Protection'), Master Carpenter, 687 and Worship thy Creator/Destructor).Added a required item to Farms and changed the name to 'Farmland'.Added a new rule: You cannot put a saddle on a pig unless you have captured them in a paddock.Added a new rule: You cannot shear or dye sheep unless you have captured them in a paddock.Added the Restoration Room to the list of Productive Buildings.Added the Creationist's Cottage to the list of Productive Buildings.This will greatly shorten journals, which can help me in the long run, but you in the short run, as it will mean you spend less time writing and more time playing). Made changes to all rules pertaining to the Book and Quill journal (you only need to write an entry every time you build a Productive Building, instead of every single day.Added the "Hell Slayer" and "A Beacon of Hope" achievements.Changed the name of "Master Combatant" to "Dragon Slayer".Made some achievement changes and additions.Cobblestone walls may now be used in place of wooden fences wherever a fence or wall is required.The restoration room now has more use, as it allows you to utilize the anvil for repairing tools and renaming items.Added some required items to Productive Buildings which didn't require anything before.Using a diamond hoe as the required item for farmland allows you to plant any crops (in any combination) you want.In the Restrictions section, I added planting and harvesting sugarcane to the list of things you can do without building anything first.The fisherman's lodge and miner's hut buildings now require beds.The farmland building now allows you to plant potatoes and carrots. ![]() The bakery building now allows you to bake potatoes and craft pumpkin pie.The creationist building now allows you to craft flower pots and dye leather armour.The blacksmith building now requires an anvil.All required items (tools, for the most part) for Productive Buildings must be stored in item frames. ![]() These are all the changes and additions I have made. ![]()
